You Probably Missed This Recasting On Fox's Bones

Like many long-running TV shows, "Bones" had a long list of recurring side characters. One important side character was recast without many
fans even noticing.
Parker Booth was the son of lead character Seeley Joseph Booth and recurring character Rebecca Stinson. He was originally played by Ty Panitz and began as a little boy on the show.
Panitz played the role for most of "Bones," right up until the character was recast as Gavin MacIntosh in season 10 with zero explanation
and suddenly aged up.
Replacing kid actors before they hit puberty is common, as it creates the illusion that they simply changed as they grew up. This meant many "Bones" fans never noticed the recast.
