Why Was Suits Canceled, And Could Streaming Bring It Back?

Due to streaming, renewed interest in USA Network’s "Suits" has many new fans wondering why it ended after nine seasons and whether there’s a chance it could come back.
The cast had only been under contract until the end of Season 7. That was when Patrick J. Adams exited and Meghan Markle left to enter the Royal Family.
"Suits" has been streaming on Netflix since June 2023 and is the most popular show on streaming as of August 2023, prompting questions about a revival.
Producer Gene Klein told TVLine "When I found out it was coming to Netflix [I knew] it would probably get another burst of viewing [...] but I did not think this would happen."
Klein added, “In this era of reboots and reunions and all this other stuff [...] I'm expecting a call at some point. [...] But I’m not aware of any serious conversations.”
