Who Is Jenna Ortega Playing In Beetlejuice 2?

We've known since 2023 that Jenny Ortega will be in the new Beetlejuice movie, but now the "Wednesday" star has revealed further details about the role.
Ortega will be playing Astrid, the daughter of Lydia Deetz's daughter, Winona Ryder’s role in the original and the sequel.
"She's weird, but in a different way and not in the way you'd assume, I would say. The relationship between Lydia and Astrid, my character, is very important,” Ortega told Vanity Fair.
When asked if Astrid rebels against her mother's more morbid sensibility, Ortega said, “I am a little bit against my mom's history or past. We butt heads quite a bit."
