What's The Best Order To Watch Edgar Wright's Cornetto Trilogy?

Edgar Wright's "Three Flavours Cornetto" trilogy began with "Shaun of the Dead" and a throwaway joke about how a Cornetto brand ice cream was a cure for a hangover.
Since these films aren't actually linked by storylines, there's no "wrong" way to watch the trilogy. However, many advise starting with the zombie rom-com, "Shaun of the Dead."
The next to watch is "Hot Fuzz," Wright's take on the cop movie genre, followed by the sci-fi alien invasion film "The World's End," the darkest entry in the series.
It's best to watch the three movies in release order because the stories grow more complex from film to film, starting off ultra-silly and growing a bit more serious.
