The Italian Thriller That Blew Up Netflix's Top Charts

"Vanished into the Night," an Italian thriller that follows a father's desperate mission to rescue his kidnapped kids, has rapidly ascended to the top of Netflix's global charts.
Released on July 11, 2024, the little-known film quickly rose to the number one spot in 24 countries by the following day, including Italy, Spain, Greece, Poland, and the Bahamas.
By July 15, it had expanded its dominance, claiming the top spot in 48 countries, including France, Egypt, and Saudi Arabia, while maintaining its lead in most of these regions.
The film made an impressive debut at number four in the U.S. and number five in the U.K., eventually climbing to second place in the U.S. and third in the U.K. by July 15.
