The Frasier Revival Ignores An Infamous Part Of Series History

The “Frasier” revival, celebrated for its nods to the original series, introduces a surprising twist by apparently resetting the protagonist's dating history in its sixth episode.
In the sixth episode of the “Frasier” revival, Eve sets up a blind date for Freddy. Frasier seems astounded by the concept of a blind date, as if he’s never heard of it before.
However, this completely contradicts the original series’ season 9 episode “Three Blind Dates,'” in which Frasier is set up to go on three blind dates.
It is plausible that Frasier could have forgotten his experience since “Three Blind Dates” took place 21 years before the reboot, but it is still strange nonetheless.
