Star Trek: SNW Teased A Muppets Episode That We Desperately Want To Be Real

"Star Trek: Strange New Worlds" might be considered the most lighthearted show in the franchise. With an episodic structure, its stories conclude at the end of each hour.
Trekkies who prefer more professional, mature characters may bristle at the constant levity of "SNW," but the slick writing offsets any real concerns.
In a Variety interview, the current showrunners said they're not done experimenting. Director Jonathan Frakes has an upcoming murder mystery, but anything can happen.
Executive producer Akiva Goldsman impishly floated the idea of a Muppet episode. "Could it do Muppets? Sure. Could it do black and white, silent, slapstick? Maybe!"
