A few students at Godolkin University in Prime Video’s “The Boys” spin-off “Gen V” have truly unconventional gifts, such as Jordan Li’s gender-swapping powers.
Li can shift between a male and female form with different powers, leading to constant switching to have the most useful powers for any given situation.
Li can shift from the indestructible male form that can deflect bullets to their female form, which gives them agility and the ability to shoot energy blasts from their hands.
Li’s superpower is a rare TV exploration of the complexities of gender from a non-binary character’s perspective that doesn’t resort to falling on bad tropes.
