Emily Deschanel’s Pregnancy Made Bones Scrap Over Half Of A Season
By SANDY SCHAEFER
Every show with a will-they-or-won't-they romance inevitably faces the question of whether they should try to make their characters work as a couple.
When "Bones" was halfway through its 12-season run, creator Hart Hanson decided it was time for Bones and Booth to try being together.
Hanson recalled to TV Tango that they had pre-planned to have the duo sleep together in season six and grapple with their newfound intimacy throughout season seven.
In a case of art imitating life, Emily Deschanel's actual pregnancy led Hanson to switch the plan to the couple dealing with having a baby so quickly after becoming lovers.
