Baby Colin Robinson Made Things 'Weird' For What We Do In The Shadows' Cast

Season 4 of “What We Do In The Shadows” offers viewers a freakishly disturbing baby version of the energy vampire Colin Robinson (Mark Proksch). After Collin dies at the end of Season 3, he is reborn as an infant — with his adult face still intact.
To achieve this look the cast had to shoot the scene with two infant stand-ins and then their faces were altered via CGI. The cast praised the babies’ bravery despite being surrounded by vampires and chainsaws, as Natasia Demetriou, who plays Nadja, put it, they were “little sweetheart troopers.”
Kayvan Novak, who plays Nandor, even found himself mistaking an adult stuntman for a 10-year-old boy, thanks to the embarrassing confusion caused by the baby stand-ins. After Novak apologized for swearing in front of the stuntman, the director clarified that he was a “grown-a** man.”
