Aubrey Plaza Joins The Cast Of Marvel’s Agatha: Coven Of Chaos
By VALERIE ETTENHOFER
Fans of the “WandaVision” character Agatha Harkness can rejoice, because the witch is getting a series all to herself, and best of all, Aubrey Plaza has joined the cast. The talented “White Lotus” actress will pair up with Kathryn Hahn, who memorably played Harkness in “WandaVision” last
year, for the spin-off series
“Agatha: Coven of Chaos.”
The show was initially introduced as “House of Harkness,” before revealing its name change at Comic-Con this summer. Although the plot hasn’t been revealed, judging by what we know about Agatha — that she’s fabulous, powerful, and winkingly campy — Plaza seems like a fantastic fit for her coven, although there’s no confirmation
that she’s playing a witch.
Hahn and Plaza are joined by Joe Locke of “Heartstopper” and “WandaVisioin” alum Emma Caulfield Ford who played Sarah Proctor. Likewise, the showrunner of “WandaVision,” Jac Schaeffer, is set to act as both writer and executive producer of “Coven of Chaos,” and while there’s no specific release date yet, a late 2023 or early 2024
release is expected.
