'Pride And Prejudice And Zombies' Release Date Set For 2016

Briefly: After so, so many years of development, with just about every director-star combo imaginable, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies finally has a set release date. Screen Gems will put the comedy horror mashup in theaters February 19, 2016, putting it up against the Naomi Watts thriller Shut In.

Based on the hit novel by Seth Grahame-Smith, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies moves the plot of Jane Austen's Pride and Prejudice to an idyllic English countryside littered with the undead. Lily James, Bella Heathcote, Ellie Bamber, Millie Brady, and Suki Waterhouse play the five Bennet sisters. Sam Riley, Douglas Booth, Jack Huston, and Matt Smith are their would-be suitors.
