Experience

As an entertainment reporter for A Hot Set, Rafiq provided insightful coverage on content creators of color in the realms of theatre and web series. Prior to that, he was a fellow at Bully Pulpit Interactive, a PR Firm that services Fortune 100 clients. Taking that back even further, Rafiq served as an intern at Flix Premiere, screening and evaluating which films were a good fit for the streaming platform. These experiences encompass the full picture of how Rafiq receives and ponders the content he encounters.

Education

Rafiq has a bachelor's degree in Communications and Rhetorical Studies from Syracuse University and is currently pursuing his master's in Public Relations and Advertising at the University of Southern California.
