- Nina joined the /Film gang in 2024, covering everything from reality TV to sitcoms to Oscar-winning movies.
- She has also joined the /Film team on their podcast "/Film Daily" across a handful of episodes and got the opportunity to work extensively on the site's year-end coverage.
- Her favorite modern filmmakers are Greta Gerwig, Jordan Peele, and Rian Johnson, and she'll buy an opening night ticket for literally anything they make.
Experience
Nina has worn a ton of hats at Static Media since she first joined the company in 2018, from video projects like "Okay, So Basically" to working on various newsdesks — and she's now happily writing for both Looper and /Film. Having worked in the two best cities in the world — Paris and Philadelphia — Nina is still surprised that anyone wants her to share her hot takes on "Game of Thrones" or the Oscars, much less that she gets to do that for a living.
Education
Nina received a bachelor's degree in English literature from the University of Pittsburgh with a minor in theater. In 2021, she earned a master's in creative writing (fiction) from the University of Kent Paris School of Arts & Sciences.
