The highly anticipated series "Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur" was announced at the Disney D23 Expo back in 2019, and after production delays thanks to the pandemic, the show is finally coming! Based on the comic series from Brandon Montclare and Amy Reeder, the direct sequel to Jack Kirby's "Moon-Boy and Devil Dinosaur" series is getting the animated treatment at Disney+. The show will join the roster of Marvel content on the Disney Channel, slated to premiere sometime in February of 2022. No official word yet on how long it will be before new episodes appear on Disney+, but it's safe to assume streaming options will be made available.
What is Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur About?
The series follows the story of Marvel's hit comic book series centered on 13-year-old genius Lunella Lafayette and her T-Rex, Devil Dinosaur. Luna inadvertently brings Devil Dinosaur into the present-day in New York City through a time vortex and together the duo work together to protect the Lower East Side from danger.

"Marvel's Moon Girl and Devil Dinosaur" is executive produced by the legendary Laurence Fishburne through Disney Television Animation. The project is executive produced through Fishburne and Helen Sugland's Cinema Gypsy Productions (ABC's "black-ish" and "mixed-ish," Freeform's "grown-ish") and Emmy Award winner Steve Loter (Disney's "Kim Possible"). Emmy Award winner Rodney Clouden ("Futurama") is supervising producer, Jeffrey M. Howard ("Planes") and Emmy Award winner Kate Kondell ("The Pirate Fairy") are co-producers and story editors, and Pilar Flynn ("Elena of Avalor") is producer.
