Madoff Trailer
The initial Madoff trailer features Richard Dreyfuss as Bernie Madoff explaining how to rip people out of billions of dollars:
"You want to know how to get people to trust you with their money? I'll tell you right now: You present it as an exclusive thing. Nothing on Earth makes people want something more than telling them they can't have it. People give me their money and I make them richer than God."
The Madoff miniseries promises to examine how his crimes affected those in his inner circle. Here is the official plot synopsis from ABC:
"Madoff" is inspired by the book "The Madoff Chronicles," written by ABC News Chief Investigative Correspondent Brian Ross. In addition to documenting the life of the investment adviser who cost his clients billions of dollars and is currently serving a 150-year prison sentence, the miniseries will examine how his crimes affected those in his inner circle.
The miniseries also features features Blythe Danner as Madoff's wife Ruth, Tom Lipinski and Danny Deferrari as the couple's sons Mark and Andrew, alongside Charles Grodin as Carl Shapiro and Lewis Black as Gregory Perkins. The miniseries is directed by Raymond De Felitta (Rob The Mob, City Island) and written by Ben Robbins (Holidaysburg). Madoff will begin airing on ABC on February 3rd 2016.
