Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Mix Vol. 1 Announced

The soundtrack for Guardians Of The Galaxy has been extremely popular. Featuring the songs present on Peter Quill's mixtape in the film, the album was the second best-selling soundtrack album of 2014 (behind only Disney's Frozen) topping the Billboard 200 chart for 11 consecutive week and 16 weeks in total. We've been promised a follow-up in the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2, but it looks like we might be getting a sequel even sooner than that. Marvel has announced the release of Guardians Of The Galaxy: Cosmic Mix Vol. 1, the soundtrack for Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy the animated television series. The new soundtrack features a compilation of songs from the 1970's and 1980's, just like the Awesome Mix from the 2014 live-action film. Hit the jump to find out more.
