2015 Emmy Nominations Announced
In a slight break from tradition, the 67th annual Primetime Emmy Award nominations were announced this morning not at the crack of dawn, but at the relatively sane hour of 8:30 AM Pacific. Uzo Aduba and Cat Deeley were on hand to read this year's list of hopefuls. We'll be updating this list as names are announced, so follow the 2015 Emmy nominations along with us after the jump.
Outgoing critical darlings Mad Men and Parks and Recreation got some love, though arguably not as much as they deserved. On the flip side, newcomers that made strong showings include Better Call Saul, Transparent, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt, and The Last Man on Earth.
Sadly, Golden Globe winner Jane the Virgin failed to make any impression on Emmy voters. Ditto Broad City, Hannibal, Justified, and Outlander (okay, it got a nod for music). And the Emmys remain mysteriously enamored of American Horror Story, even after its dullest season to date.
