Infographic: All Superhero TV Shows Are Basically The Same
As big as the superhero renaissance is at the movie theater, TV is at the very least matching it. In fact, it's probably beating it.
At least ten superhero shows are either currently on the air, coming soon, or recently finished including Gotham, Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D, Arrow, The Flash, Daredevil, Supergirl, and Constantine. And that doesn't even count the upcoming Flash/Arrow spin-off, a potential Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D spin-off, the other Marvel Netflix shows and many more.
Every one of these shows has its fans and detractors, but very few people have looked at the current superhero TV show as a whole. The Daily Dot did and realized that all of these shows have a lot in common. To make the point, they created an easily digestible illustration. Check out the superhero TV infographic below.

Of the four shows that feature fewer trend items than the rest, two are as yet unaired: Supergirl and Lucifer. (And Lucifer may be a stretch to call a "superhero show," despite being based on a comic book character.) So they could end up fitting into more of these categories than are currently marked.
