First Look: Johnny Depp Is Tied In 'Pirates Of The Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales'
Batman v Superman doesn't hit theaters for almost a year, and we've already seen a trailer. Not to be outdone, here's a Pirates of the Caribbean 5 first look. The film doesn't open until July 2017 — that's over two years away — but here's the first image from the film, of Johnny Depp as Jack Sparrow in Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales.

The film is still shooting, after taking a production break when Depp was injured.
Joachim Rønning and Espen Sandberg are directing, and Pirates 5 the film also stars Kaya Scodelario, Brenton Thwaites, Golshifteh Farahani, Geoffrey Rush, Kevin McNally and Stephen Graham.
Thrust into an all-new adventure, a down-on-his-luck Captain Jack Sparrow finds the winds of ill-fortune blowing even more strongly when deadly ghost pirates led by his old nemesis, the terrifying Captain Salazar (Bardem), escape from the Devil's Triangle, determined to kill every pirate at sea...including him. Captain Jack's only hope of survival lies in seeking out the legendary Trident of Poseidon, a powerful artifact that bestows upon its possessor total control over the seas.
The film opens on July 7, 2017.
