'Ant-Man' Trailer: Paul Rudd Is The Ultimate Secret Weapon
Marvel Studios has just issued a trailer for its other big release of summer 2015, Ant-Man. Paul Rudd stars as Scott Lang, who's recruited by Hank Pym (Michael Douglas) to become the Ant-Man. Yes, Scott, it's too late to change the name. Check out the Ant-Man trailer after the jump.
Marvel debuted the new Ant-Man trailer on YouTube.
This trailer seems like a vast improvement over the last Ant-Man trailer. At least there's a much better sense of tone. Rudd's dry humor shines through without undermining the more serious superhero stuff, and Evangeline Lilly and Corey Stoll get some fun moments as HopeVan Dyne and Darren Cross. Plus, there's a cheeky little moment there at the end, where the dastardly Yellowjacket is almost taken out by a toy train. Thomas the Tank Engine never looked so menacing.
Ant-Man opens July 17, 2015. Peyton Reed directed.
