Video: How To Edit The Marvel Cinematic Universe In Chronological Order
One of the many reasons people continue to show up in droves to Marvel movies is they want to see what happens next. With each subsequent film, short or TV show, one cohesive story continues to unfold. It's serial moviemaking.
That means, hypothetically, if you wanted to watch the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe as one movie, you could. They were conceived as a single story all linking together, so why not edit them into one huge movie? You can and that's exactly what some Marvel fans have done. However, while that's cool on its own, they've gone one step further. They've created a video letting people know how to make their own edit of Phase One in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as one, chronological movie. Check out the how to Marvel Phase One Timeline video below.

And yes, there are a few cheats here outside of the technical Phase One, but that's what makes Marvel so great. The keep expanding the mythology.
What I find particularly interesting here is this edit even deconstructs each individual film. If there are things happening in two different places, like in the case of the first Iron Man, it accounts for that. Of course, it also has to make some assumptions about time frame and stuff, but nevertheless, it's pretty interesting.
