James Franco And Seth Rogen's Characters From 'The Interview' To Do MTV Special
Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg's already controversial film, The Interview, was recently pushed back a few months but we'll get a nice tease this weekend. Tied into the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards, stars of the film James Franco and Rogen will do a full 30 minute special, in character, interviewing popular musicians Nicki Minaj, Iggy Azalea and Jason Derulo.
In the film, Franco plays Dave Skylark, the host of a popular entertainment interview show run by producer Aaron Rapoport (Rogen). They're then granted an exclusive interview with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un, and are asked to kill him. There will be no killing on the MTV special, which airs Sunday August 17 at 9 p.m., but you'll get a sense of the film's tone and humor. Below, read more info, see more photos and even watch a quick video of The Interview MTV Special.
