'Point Break' Remake Casts Its New Keanu Reeves

Briefly: Yes, that Point Break remake is actually moving forward. Ericson Core (Invincible) is directing the film, which currently has Gerard Butler attached as bank robbing surfer Bodhi, a role originally played by Patrick Swayze.

Bodhi's nemesis/partner Johnny Utah, a role originated by Keanu Reeves, will now be played by relative newcomer Luke Bracey. Bracey played the masked role of Cobra Commander in last year's G.I.
