'We're The Millers' Getting Sequel; Writer Attached
Briefly: One of the biggest box office surprises of 2013 had to be Rawson Marshall Thurber's We're The Millers. Made for just under $40 million, the comedy grossed $150 million in the U.S. and $270 million worldwide. That's a huge number, so it's no surprise a sequel is in the works. Stars Jason Sudeikis, Jennifer Aniston, Will Poulter and Emma Roberts are all expected to come back, but no deals are set, and New Line has hired Adam Sztykiel to write the sequel. Sztykiel wrote Due Date and Maid of Honor. Marshall Thurber is also expected to return to direct. No release date has been set. [THR]
