TV Trailers: 'The Strain,' 'Penny Dreadful,' And 'Hannibal'
Sundance is nearly over, so the year's first big volley of new movies has largely been revealed. But there's a lot more stuff to come, both in theaters and on TV. Here are three new TV trailers to whet your appetite for the next few months. There's the first full trailer for the second season of Hannibal, and a new teaser for The Strain, based on stories from Guillermo del Toro, who directed the pilot. Then there's the first trailer for Penny Dreadful, from the Skyfall team of Sam Mendes and John Logan.

A plane lands at John F. Kennedy International Airport with lights off and doors sealed. Epidemiologist Dr. Ephraim Goodweather (Stoll) and his team are sent to investigate. On board they find two hundred corpses and four survivors. The situation deteriorates when the bodies begin disappearing from morgues. Goodweather and a small group of helpers find themselves battling to protect not only their own loved ones, but the entire city, from an ancient threat to humanity.
