Josh Gad To Star In 'Gilligan's Island' The Movie

Josh Gad is about to embark on much more than a three hour tour. The Tony Award nominee who can currently be heard in Frozen and is gearing up to play Sam Kinison has just signed on to co-write and star in a live-action film adaptation of the classic 1960s TV series Gilligan's Island at Warner Bros.

It's unclear which role Gad would play, but the title character would make sense. He's co-writing with Benji Samit and Dan Hernandez. Gad is also co-writing Triplets, the potential sequel to Twins. [Deadline]
