Cool Stuff: ACME Archives' Exclusive D23 Expo Art Featuring 'Ducktales,' 'Star Wars,' '20,000 Leagues'
The D23 Expo begins Friday in Anaheim, CA and /Film will be on the scene. We're expecting to learn tons more about Frozen, The Good Dinosaur, Tomorrowland and maybe even Star Wars Episode VII. We'll have updates here on the site as soon as possible, so keep checking back.
The only thing that may slow those updates down is the awesome Disney merchandise that's on sale at the event. Since it only happens every two years, Disney retailers go all out for the Expo, creating all kinds of exclusive content. Toys, pins, hats, shirts and – you knew it was coming – posters. Acme Archives, which has the official Disney license, is releasing some very cool art for the event, including an awesome Ducktales poster, a new Star Wars painting and more. Check them out below.
First up, here are three exclusive silkscreens.
All three pieces are limited to editions of 250, at 18 x 24 inches and a cost of $50. There's Redheads by Amy Mebberson, Disney Afternoon by James Silvani and Ducktales by Dave Perillo.
They'll also have a ton of more expensive, exclusive art available at the event. Check out the full gallery here, but here are just a few selections.
Those all vary in size and price. Mouse over each for the artist name.
The D23 Expo takes place from August 9-11.
