Watch Zack Snyder's Announcement Of The Batman/Superman Crossover Film
One of the loudest crowd sounds I've ever heard in my life was the deafening roar that erupted in Hall H at Comic Con this year when Zack Snyder rolled a short video in which Superman's 'S' logo appeared, then was shadowed by Batman's own symbol.
The video was the culmination of Snyder's announcement that the sequel to Man of Steel will feature Batman. Now you can watch most of Snyder's short talk, and see that video for yourself.
Typically we'd never post any video from Comic Con's Hall H that features even a shred of footage, but in this case the exception can be made. (Because of some cursing just after the logo video — moderator Chris Hardwick was pretty excited — this might not be safe for work.)
Zack Snyder and David Goyer are writing the as-yet untitled film now, with an eye on a 2015 release date. The actor playing Batman is not yet cast, but Henry Cavill, Amy Adams, Laurence Fishburne and Diane Lane will return to their Man of Steel roles.
