Check Out New Guillermo Del Toro And 'Pacific Rim' Art Including Possible Mondo Posters

We've already seen some very cool collectible art based on Guillermo Del Toro's Pacific Rim and it just keeps rolling in. Odd City Entertainment just revealed a few more posters; there's a full Guillermo Del Toro art show opening in Los Angeles this weekend; and that mysterious Kaiju Remedies box included two images that look very much like Mondo posters.

After the jump, check it all out.

First up, here are two postcards that came in the Kaiju briefcase Peter wrote about on Tuesday.

Trust me. That is unmistakably the artwork of Kevin Tong and Vania Zouravliov, two of Mondo's troupe of regular artists. Considering Mondo played a part in another recent box set released by Warner Bros., and these specific artists, I'd be willing to bet this is a sneak peak at art we'll be able to purchase in poster form somewhere in the future. Wait, is that San Diego Comic-Con on the calendar in two weeks? Very interesting.

Next up, Odd City Entertainment has continued to reveal art for there ongoing Pacific Rim poster series. You can read specifics about these posters here (and here), but these are regular and variants for art by NE (formerly known as New Flesh) and James Fosdike. Follow @OddCityNews for more info on these releases.

Finally, this Saturday in Los Angeles, artist and curator Chogrin (he of the recent Jurassic Park 20th anniversary show) is putting on a gallery exhibit dedicated to the director of Pacific Rim, Guillermo Del Toro. The show will open 8 p.m. July 6 at the Hyaena Gallery in Burbank, CA and  remain on display through July 31. Get more info, and see the full show here. There no Pacific Rim art, but we've picked a few of our favorite pieces below. Mouse over each for the artist name.
