Final 'Man Of Steel' Trailer Needs Few Words
Man of Steel opens in just over a week. After years of waiting, a brand new, ass-kicking Superman movie is right around the corner. Next week, we'll be able to share our thoughts. If you don't have your tickets yet, you may want to secure those now.
And if you're still on the fence, maybe one final trailer will convince you. Nokia has teamed up with the team to release a new trailer that really hinges on director Zack Snyder's visuals and composer Hans Zimmer's score. There's some dialogue in there too, mostly from Jor-El (Russell Crowe) but this trailer is poetry and the perfect, final piece of marketing to watch before June 14.
Thanks to Nokia, via Comic Book Movie, for the heads up.
The review embargo on Man of Steel lifts Monday night, June 10 and my review is ready. We think you're going to like it.
In the pantheon of superheroes, Superman is the most recognized and revered character of all time. Clark Kent/Kal-El (Henry Cavill) is a young twenty-something journalist who feels alienated by powers beyond his imagination. Transported years ago to Earth from Krypton, a highly advanced, distant planet, Clark struggles with the ultimate question 'Why am I here?' Shaped by the values of his adoptive parents Martha (Diane Lane) and Jonathan Kent (Kevin Costner), Clark discovers having extraordinary abilities means making difficult decisions. When the world is in dire need of stability, an even greater threat emerges. Clark must become a Man of Steel, to protect the people he loves and shine as the world's beacon of hope – Superman.
