Gwyneth Paltrow Says There Won't Be More 'Iron Man' Films
Much like Robert Downey Jr., Gwyneth Paltrow's contract with Marvel ends with next week's Iron Man 3. Everyone assumes Downey will be back for at least The Avengers 2, and probably Iron Man 4, but nothing is set in stone. Now Paltrow has put those assumptions up for serious debate with a quote where she says she doesn't believe Iron Man 4 will happen. Read it below.
Here's what Paltrow said in regards to Iron Man 4. Thanks to Bleeding Cool for the heads up.
I don't think there's going to be [an Iron Man 4]. I think we're done with Iron Man.
Because of the contract situation, this could very well be a tactic to get Marvel to show Gwyneth the money. She plays a major role in Iron Man 3 and it's pretty difficult to see any future Tony Stark appearance without Pepper Potts by his side.
To say anything beyond that is a bit too spoilery for a week away from release but, we'll debate it in detail very soon. What do you think about this statement?
