GALLERY: Roberto Orci's Personal Set Photos From 2009's 'Star Trek'
Screenwriter Roberto Orci seems to be going through his cell phone and tweeting a bunch of older photos from the set of 2009's Star Trek. He's posted several never before seen looks behing the scenes of the blockbuster just as the new one is currently filming. Orci, of course, co-wrote not only Star Trek with his partner Alex Kurtzman and Damon Lindelof, they co-wrote the sequel as well as Transformers, Mission: Impossible III, Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen and more. Check out the photos after the jump.
These photos are from Orci's Twitter. It seems like he's actually, as of Thursday afternoon, still posting photos so head there and follow him to possibly see more. Maybe he'll even sneak out a Star Trek 2 photo. It would be pretty easy to figure out as these old photos are so blurry compared to what updated iphone pics look like.
One note is that the photo of Orci, Kurtzman and J.J. Abrams rewriting is likely not from Star Trek. That was being shot during the writer's strike which meant people couldn't write. Instead, it's probably during Mission: Impossible III. Another clue? Kurtzman's badge.
As cool as these images are, it's almost more exciting to see them and begin to think that something similar is happening right now as you read this. The sequel is finally in production!
