First Official Photo: Charlize Theron In Jason Reitman's 'Young Adult'
Paramount Pictures has released the first official photo of Charlize Theron in Jason Reitman's upcoming film Young Adult. In the film Theron plays Mavis Gary, "a writer of teen literature who returns to her small hometown to relive her glory days and attempt to reclaim her happily married high school sweetheart." The movie costars Patton Oswalt and Patrick Wilson. I've heard good things coming out of the test screenings in Southern California, including praise for Theron, Oswalt and Diablo Cody's screenplay (which has been described as completely different than any of her past work). The film is not expected to appear at any of the festivals, skipping Reitman's staples of Telluride and Toronto. Paramount Pictures will release Adult in theaters on December 16th 2011. Hit the jump to see the first photo.
