'The Amazing Spider-Man' Comic Con Video Blog Reaction

The buzz on this week's teaser trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man was largely mixed, leaving most fans either wondering why they bothered to reboot the character at all (many of the scene snippets looked similar to the Sam Raimi trilogy) or bothered by the computer generated-looking nature of the POV sequence at the end.

Still, Spider-Man was still the most anticipated panel at this year's Comic Con. Twilight fans failed to pack Hall H for Breaking Dawn Part 1 and even Steven Spielberg's Tintin had a couple empty seats. But the Friday afternoon Sony panel was packed, with most of those in attendance anticipating the first real footage from Marc Webb's 3D superhero reboot.
