Land Of The Lost Movie Trailer

Universal has released a full length trailer for Land of the Lost on Subwayfreshbuzz.com. It's basically an extended version of the teaser that played during the Super Bowl. We get to see more of the fantastical land in the alternative universe they become transported to. And it is that aspect of the movie that I'm most interested in. As I said in the teaser advertisement post, the comedy seems to be more of the same Will Farrell act that we've seen in film after film. Based on the classic television series created by Sid & Marty Krofft, LAND OF THE  LOST stars Will Ferrell as the has-been scientist Dr. Rick Marshall.  Anna Friel stars as his crack-smart research assistant and Danny McBride plays a redneck survivalist who is sucked alongside the two scientists into an adventure through a space-time vortex.  With no weapons, few skills and questionable smarts to survive in an alternate universe full of marauding dinosaurs and fantastic creatures from beyond our world, they rely on an unlikely ally and navigate through a place of spectacular sights and super-scaled comedy known as the Land of the Lost.

Land of the Lost hits theaters on June 5th 2009.
