Here's How To Watch Ant-Man And The Wasp: Quantumania At Home
Get excited, Marvel fans, because everyone's favorite tiny hero is back in "Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania," and now you can watch the latest Ant-Man adventure from the comfort of your couch. Fans who have already seen the film will still have plenty of reasons to check out the home video version, as there are tons of extras that simply couldn't be shown in theaters, while folks who couldn't get to the cinema will finally have their chance to check in with Scott Lang (Paul Rudd), Hope Van Dyne (Evangeline Lilly), and the rest of the team. (Can't remember what happened in the last Marvel movie and need a refresher before checking out "Quantumania?" We've got you covered.)
In "Quantumania," the two heroes join up with Scott's daughter Cassie (Kathryn Newton) and Hope's parents, Janet Van Dyne (Michelle Pfeiffer) and Hank Pym (Michael Douglas), going on a wild family adventure into the Quantum Realm. While there, they encounter a version of Kang the Conqueror (Jonathan Majors), the villain we last saw in the Disney+ series "Loki," and things get a lot less whimsical pretty quick. We know the Ant-heroes will save the day, but home audiences won't know how until April 18, 2023, when the movie releases on digital. My fellow physical media fans will only have to wait a few weeks to bring home the tangible version themselves, with 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD arriving on May 16.
The film will also begin streaming on Disney+ starting May 17.
Bring home Lang, Kang, M.O.D.O.K. and more!
Folks excited to own the latest Marvel Cinematic Universe entry will have plenty to get hyped about, as the home video versions will contain more than two hours of additional content, which is almost a whole additional movie if you think about it. The bonus content includes deleted scenes, audio commentary by director Peyton Reed and writer Jeff Loveness, a gag reel that's sure to be killer because of Paul Rudd, and some fun behind-the-scenes featurettes about the making of the film. There's even a whole featurette about Kang and his role as the big bad of this phase of the MCU, with interviews with Jonathan Majors, Bill Murray, and Corey Stoll (who play the villains fighting the Ant-Man fam in the movie).
Whether you're looking for all of the extras or just want to figure out what the heck is up with M.O.D.O.K., there's a bunch of neat stuff to check out on the "Quantumania" home video release — which, to reiterate, will be available on digital April 18 and on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, and DVD on May 16, 2023, wherever movies are sold.
