'Transformers: The Last Knight' Reveals Robot Forms For New Megatron, Barricade And Hound

The reveals from Transformers: The Last Knight just keep coming. Next week we'll have much more to talk about regarding the fifth film in the Hasbro franchise with plenty from director Michael Bay. But until then, we can check out a couple more of the new designs for the robot forms of some of the fan favorite Decepticons as well as one of the beloved Autobots. In addition, some footage from a set visit for Transformers fan sites gives us an up close look at Optimus Prime, both inside and out.

Get a look at the Transformers The Last Knight Megatron, Barricade the newly designed Autobot Houd, and Optimus Prime after the jump.

First up, we already knew Megatron was coming back, even after becoming Galvatron in Transformers: Age of Extinction. Now we get to see his new robot form which changes his design slightly. Here's the new Megatron design from the Transformers Facebook page:

Megatron is still a silver Decepticon, but his design appears to give him some armor that resembles that of a knight from medieval times. Considering the title of the movie, this is likely intentional. Megatron still has that trusty giant gun on his arm, but he's also got quite an intimidating battle axe this time. That's certainly going to tear some Autobots apart next summer. The real question is whether or not Frank Welker, the original voice of Megatron, will return to voice the villain in this sequel.

Next up, the loyal Decepticon known as Barricade also gets a bit of a makeover in his robot form. We've already seen the bad guy's new vehicle form, and now we get to see what that custom Ford Mustang Saleen looks like in robot form:

Barricade doesn't look remarkably different than his previous incarnations, however, there's a nice additional touch by having "punish" and "enslave" on his elbows while "serve" and "protect" are situated as brass knuckles on his fists. I feel like the position of the words should be flip-flopped, but maybe that's just me.

Now on the side of the good guys, here's the updated design for the Autobot commander Hound. We've yet to see the vehicle form of Hound, but it looks like he's been given a makeover since he now has red medical crosses on different parts of his body. Here's the new Hound:

Previously he's been a military truck, so maybe now he's just a military medical vehicle since he still has the army green color on him. All that matters is he still has that great beard and a huge stogie sticking out of his mouth. No word on whether or not John Goodman will be back to voice the character, but we'll keep our fingers crossed.

Finally, for those who have been anxious to see Optimus Prime again, here's a video giving us an up close look at the Autobot leader in all his blue and red flame glory:

The video comes from the Transformers fansite TFW 2005 who recently had a set visit of their own while Transformers: The Last Knight was in production. You can see more of Optimus Prime in a couple more videos over there, including footage from inside the truck as it drives around the set.

Meanwhile, stay tuned for our own set visit report coming on Tuesday, August 16th featuring plenty of time with director Michael Bay as well as cast members Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel, Santiago Cabrera, Laura Haddock, Isabela Moner and more.

Transformers: The Last Knight arrives on June 23, 2017.
