'Tomorrowland' Super Bowl Trailer: Disney's New Adventure Goes Big
Ah, the Super Bowl — the one TV program of the year where the commercials are as big a deal as the actual event being televised. This year's crop of multimillion-dollar spots includes one for Tomorrowland, Disney's new sci-fi adventure starring George Clooney and Britt Robertson. Brad Bird directed. Watch the Tomorrowland Super Bowl trailer after the jump.
For the most part, Disney has kept Tomorrowland shrouded in mystery. Even the earlier trailer and footage descriptions seemed to raise more questions than they answered. And although we're bound to learn a bit more as the release date gets closer, I suspect we'll still be in for a few big surprises at the theater.
But that's part of what makes Tomorrowland so intriguing. We're plenty familiar with the studio's biggest franchises — Marvel, Star Wars, those live-action fairy tales — but it's great to see the studio stretch its wings with an original adventure.
Tomorrowland opens May 22, 2015.
