VOTD: 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens' Gets Animated In 60 Seconds

We're coming down to the end of the theatrical run of Star Wars: The Force Awakens very soon. The film can still be seen in most theaters, but The Finest Hours has taken over most if not all IMAX screens by now. So if you're looking for a quick fix for The Force Awakens, then 1A4 Studio has just the ticket for you. They've created a very simply animated version of the entire movie, but they've crammed it all into just 60 seconds. It's actually pretty amusing and cute.

Here's Star Wars: The Force Awakens in 60 seconds from 1A4 Studio (via Gizmodo):

This is just another installment of their Speedrun video series that takes tons of movies and crams them into just one minute. The animated drawings are really cool, and it's always fun to see how they tell the story in such a small time frame. The scene where the Millennium Falcon is picked up by Han Solo's freighter is my favorite part, mainly when the rathtar tentacles can be seen for a brief second. But the lightsaber battle at the end is pretty funny too.

And for anyone who complained that The Force Awakens borrowed too much from Star Wars: A New Hope, why not compare the Speedrun for Episode VIII to the Speedrun for Episode IV by watching the latter right here:

You can watch more of the Speedrun videos for movies such as Fight Club, Blade Runner, Back to the Future, Die Hard, Jaws, Terminator 2: Judgment Day and more right here.
