I tried to get this up last week but it got lost in the shuffle. Concept images popped online of toys from Tim Burton's Superman Lives that never happened. See more at Collider.
WETA special effects guy Joe Letteri is working on Man of Steel and spoke to The Playlist about how the effects in the movie are being handled. There's more at the link:
Zack's going for pretty much everything in-camera as much as he can. I mean, the reason to think about Superman in CGI, you don't need him full CGI as a character, because he's basically a full person. But you just don't want the flying scenes to look like he's on a wire. So [the question is] how do you use CG to make that happen, and that's still kind of being played with right now.

Marc Webb talked extensively about The Amazing Spider-Man with Empire Magazine, via Comic Book Movie, here's just one sample:
It's not a remake, we're not making Sam's movie again. It's a different universe and a different story with different characters. There are certain mythological obligations people have in any story, but it's so radically different in terms of tone and what Peter Parker experiences that I'm very comfortable with the movie occupying a different space.
IMP Awards posted this poster for the upcoming movie Chronicle.Chris Hemsworth spoke a bit about Thor's relationship with Captain America and how the character wants to deal with Loki in The Avengers:
Thor has a different opinion about how this should be taken care of, because it's his brother. I think it's heartbreaking, because he feels very responsible for why Loki has spiralled off. He keeps trying to appeal to whatever good was once there.

Christopher Nolan and Christian Bale spoke to Empire (via CBM) about shooting The Dark Knight Rises in New York. Here's Nolan:
The jumping off point for me with taking on Batman in the first place was that if you could make believe in the reality of what they're seeing, then the story has unbelievable power. And shooting in New York with New York faces there...that's a big part if it.
/Film reader Braden Y and his girl made Bane gingerbread cookies this weekend to celebrate The Dark Knight Rises prologue.

The might be my favorite thing ever. IO9 points out a concept by Draw2D2 in which Marvel characters and A Christmas Story are put together. You won't shoot your eye out if you head to those links to see a bunch of other, equally hilarious, images.
If you know about Bane, you know what likely happens in The Dark Knight Rises and Bleeding Cool says they've confirmed it. Spoilers abound.
/Film reader Ashley L is working on a superhero film called Last Flight of the Firefly and needs your help. Head to the IndieGogo page to read more about the concept, which you get a glimpse of above.
David Fincher spoke to IO9 (via CBM) about what he plan for Spider-Man would have been had he done it instead of Sam Raimi:
My impression what Spider-Man could be is very different from what Sam [Raimi] did or what Sam wanted to do. I think the reason he directed that movie was because he wanted to do the Marvel comic superhero. I was never interested in the genesis story. I couldn't get past a guy getting bit by a red and blue spider. It was just a problem... It was not something that I felt I could do straight-faced. I wanted to start with Gwen Stacy and the Green Goblin, and I wanted to kill Gwen Stacy.
The title sequence of the movie that I was going to do was going to be a ten minute — basically a music video, an opera, which was going to be the one shot that took you through the entire Peter Parker [backstory]. Bit by a radio active spider, the death of Uncle Ben, the loss of Mary Jane, and [then the movie] was going to begin with Peter meeting Gwen Stacy. It was a very different thing, it wasn't the teenager story. It was much more of the guy who's settled into being a freak.
Here's a photo of Stan Lee on the set of The Amazing Spider-Man with producer Avi Arad.
FilmInk (via CBM) has a bunch of Avengers related quotes from Jeremy Renner, Joss Whedon and this one from Scarlet Johannson about Black Widow's relationship with Hawkeye:
Our characters have a long history. They've fought together for a long time in a lot of battles in many different countries. We're the two members of this swinging group who are skilled warriors – we have no superpowers. Black Widow is definitely one of the team though. She's not in the cast simply to be a romantic fall or eye candy. She's there to fight, so I never felt like I was the only girl. We all have out various skills and it feels equal.
Deviant Artist Hobo95 (via CBM) made this poster for The Amazing Spider-Man.
Merchandise for The Dark Knight Rises has begun popping up for pre-order on Amazon, via CBM.
Comic Book Movie found some box art for upcoming Avengers merch, here's the Heroclix.
This is super weird. CBM has found a rumor on the IMDB about the post-credit scene in The Avengers. It's so out there, it couldn't possibly be right. How would that fit in?
