New 'Star Trek Into Darkness' Images Reveal More Action And Tech
There are officially less than two months until J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness warps into theaters. Doesn't it feel like we've been talking about this film forever? That's because we have. The first article /Film wrote about the film went up a mere month after 2009's Star Trek was in theaters. You can read it here. In it, the question about the potential that Khan would be in the movie was discussed. Going on four years later, we still don't know that answer for sure, even though the latest trailer certainly suggests it.
A new batch of images won't add any clarity to that topic, but they will add some fire to your already burning desire to see the film. In the pics, we see several members of the U.S.S. Enterprise engaged in what seem to be heavy gun battles, and we can look at a piece of tech named MC-9321.
Thanks to Empire and Paramount for the images (via Coming Soon). The first three are from the upcoming J.J. Abrams issue of Empire and the last is from the Star Trek Into Darkness App.
Gotta love that Empire cover, and the action shots of Zoe Saldana, Zachary Quinto and Chris Pine speak for themselves. But what's the MC-9321? Odds are it's just some kind of small ship that's stored on the Enterprise. But maybe it plays a larger role in the film, which opens May 17 in the US. Give us your best guess below.
