New Action Packed 'Star Trek Into Darkness' Teaser Trailer Now Online
The latest trailer for J.J. Abrams' Star Trek Into Darkness isn't exactly long, but she's got it where it counts, kid. Running just over a minute long, the trailer features a fair amount of new footage with a strong focus on action. It also shows more of the rebellious nature of newly minted Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) as he and the crew of the Enterprise go off on yet another adventure.
Benedict Cumberbatch's John Harrison makes a menacing appearance, Simon Pegg's Scott gets a gag. Basically 70 seconds sell this highly-anticipated movie incredibly well. Check it out below.
Thanks to the Playlist for the embed. It's not exactly "official" so if it's down, our apologies.
From what we can tell, this is the "family friendly" trailer released this week for Oz the Great and Powerful. A final, full trailer should be out later this month.
Star Trek Into Darkness opens May 17.
