'Doctor Who' Trailer Features More Of Maisie Williams In Her Guest Role
Here's the new trailer for Doctor Who season nine, and this footage features a whole collection of wild shots, many of which seem to be from the two-part opening story. Among the many sights in this trailer are a few shots that suggest details of the Maisie Williams Doctor Who guest role, briefly glimpsed at the end of the first trailer, and suggested much more heavily now thanks to shots like the one above.
But she's not even the lone highlight of this trailer, as there are Daleks, other alien sights, and more of Peter Capaldi's grit as this incarnation of the Doctor. You can see both the new trailer and the first one below.
Here's the first trailer once more, in the event you missed it previously, or just want to check it out again in the wake of this new footage.
Doctor Who premieres September 19th, 2015 at 9/8c on BBC America. Trailer via BBC America.
The Doctor and Clara embark on reckless adventures in all of space and time in the new season of BBC AMERICA's Doctor Who. The hit time travel series returns with a two-parter, The Magician's Apprentice and The Witch's Familiar, written by lead writer and showrunner Steven Moffat and directed by Hettie Macdonald (director of award-winning Doctor Who episode Blink with Carey Mulligan).
In Peter Capaldi's second season at the helm of the TARDIS, the series sees the Doctor and Clara Oswald (Jenna Coleman) going on a journey that takes them to deadly alien planets, creepy underwater bases, Viking villages, a global Zygon uprising, and through hidden alien dens, to the very end of time itself. Meeting monsters old and new, the Doctor will come face to face with Missy (Michelle Gomez), a city of Daleks, deadly mercenaries called the Mire, terrifying ghosts and more.
