First Look: 'Jack The Giant Killer' Set Pics With Ewan McGregor And Eddie Marsan

[No photo]Bryan Singer hasn't made a movie since the 2008 film Valkyrie, but he's finally rolling now on Jack the Giant Killer. The film stars Nicholas Hoult (A Single Man, X-Men: First Class) as the title character, and features support from Eleanor Tomlinson as a kidnapped princess and Ewan McGregor, Eddie Marsan, Stanley Tucci, Ian McShane, and Bill Nighy as a variety of characters in the film's fantasy/medieval world.

Now the first spy set photos are online, and they show Ewan McGregor and Eddie Marsan in costume as members of the King's elite guard. These costumes should give you an idea of what Bryan Singer is going for with the film's overall look; check out pics after the break.

Here's the film's basic plot:

When a princess is kidnapped, a long-standing peace between men and giants becomes threatened, and a young farmer is given an opportunity to lead a dangerous expedition to the giant kingdom to rescue her.

Bryan Singer has talked about how he's using RED's new EPIC camera system to shoot the film in 3D, but also in relatively low light, the better to capture a world that isn't lit by electricity.
