'Interstellar' Teaser Trailer: Christopher Nolan's Latest Takes Us Deep Into Space

"Our destiny lies above us." Christopher Nolan's latest film, Interstellar, will be out in November 2014 but the first teaser trailer is out now. Watch it below.

Talk about the definition of a teaser trailer. McConaughey's voiceover reminds how obsessed the world used to be with space exploration. However, that obsession is long gone and somehow most people are okay with this. His words are juxtaposed with footage that looks old, and some of it likely is, but there seems to be at least two shots that have an old look but feature McConaughey. That's kind of interesting as most of us surely assumed the film took place in the future.

But that's it. Short, sweet, leave us guessing and dying for more. And we'll get more leading up to November 7, 2014, but all in good time. Our destiny lies before us.
