'Friday The 13th' Reboot Moved Back Eight Months; 'Scouts Vs. Zombies' Takes Its Spot
Briefly: Jason Voorhees fans out there are still getting their new film, it's just going to take a bit longer. Paramount Pictures just altered its release schedule a bit, moving the Friday the 13th reboot from the previously announced March 13, 2015 to November 13, 2015. David Bruckner is rumored to direct the film. (And yes, November 13 2015 is a Friday, which is probably why the film is being released then, rather than a few weeks earlier to land for Halloween.)
Sliding into the previously vacated March spot is the now filming horror film Scouts vs. Zombies from Paranormal Activity: The Marked Ones director Christopher Landon. The plot of that film is implicit in the title. [ERC Box Office]
