Cool Stuff: Planet Pulp's Pixar 25th Anniversary Celebration Art Show
Jayson Weidel has created an art gallery blog called Planet-Pulp, which is an online pop culture gallery with a new theme every 30 days. Over the last month they have had a PIXAR 25th Anniversary Celebration Show. After the jump you can find my favorite selections from the show. Too bad prints aren't available for some of these gems.
Official Information on Planet Pulp:
We are an intergalactic online gallery on a mission to orbit a pulp-culture theme every 30 days. Here you will discover a collection of talented Rogues bound together by sheer awesomeness, illustrating and designing monthly themes as we celebrate our shared love of Pulp Culture.
Some of the interwebs hottest artists have joined PLANET-PULP as members, talents such as Tom Whalen, Dave Perillo, Steven Dressler and Katie Cook, just to name a few. Most of our members are currently working in the comics and entertainment field at places like Disney, Lucasfilm, Pixar, IDW, Marvel and DC.
PLANET-PULP is only 5 month old and we're trying to get the word out about what a great site we are. We're just wrapping up our PIXAR 25th Anniversary Celebration Show and encourage you to visit the art and consider writing a little about us to help spread the word. We celebrate a new theme every month so were sure to be a anticipated destination in any Pop-Culture fans browser bookmarks. Be sure to follow us in April as we celebrate Saturday Morning TV and then Star Wars following in May.
