'Bridesmaids' Trailer #2
Freaks and Geeks creator Paul Feig is finally making his first big film. Bridesmaids stars Kristen Wiig as a woman whose best friend recruits her to be the maid of honor in her wedding. The film has already had one great trailer, and played to excellent reception a couple days ago at SXSW. Now there is a second trailer, and it is just as good as the first.
Peter loved the film at SXSW, praising Kristen Wiig (who is also great in Paul) and singling out Melissa McCarthy as a stand-out performer. He said, "Confident, a mix of laugh-out-loud funny, smart, raunchy, and heartbreaking. Bridesmaides is a homerun. Hopefully it will become a box office hit and inspire Hollywood to expand their classification of what a "chick flick" can be and strive for something more."
If this isn't raunchy enough for you, check out Vulture's rundown of the dirtiest lines in the movie.

Bridesmaids also features Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Jon Hamm and Ellie Kemper and opens on May 13.
This spring, producer Judd Apatow (Knocked Up, Superbad) and director Paul Feig (creator of Freaks and Geeks) invite you to experience Bridesmaids. Kristen Wiig leads the cast as Annie, a maid of honor whose life unravels as she leads her best friend, Lillian (Maya Rudolph), and a group of colorful bridesmaids (Rose Byrne, Melissa McCarthy, Wendi McLendon-Covey and Ellie Kemper) on a wild ride down the road to matrimony. Annie's life is a mess. But when she finds out her lifetime best friend is engaged, she simply must serve as Lillian's maid of honor. Though lovelorn and broke, Annie bluffs her way through the expensive and bizarre rituals. With one chance to get it perfect, she'll show Lillian and her bridesmaids just how far you'll go for someone you love.
