Cool Stuff: Back To The Future Monopoly
Okay so my card carrying membership card to the legion of modern board gamers is probably going to be revoked by featuring a Monopoly game on /Film, but my fandom for Back to the Future trumps all. USAopoly had announced a Back to the Future version of Monopoly in March, showcasing the fun full-color box resembling a case of plutonium from the 1985 film Back to the Future.
But we haven't seen the contents until now, and the die-cast metal game pieces featuring the delorean time machine, Einstein the dog, the cowboy hat, Nike's futuristic 2015 sneakers, the hoverboard, and the famous Hill Valley clock look too cool not to mention. But do I really need to buy another version of Monopoly? See the photos of the Back to the Future Monopoly set after the jump!

As you can see, the game features a ton of props and locations from throughout the Back to the Future trilogy. Each location tells you which time period it comes from. There are spaces that send you into the future or back in time (I'm assuming this is just going back or forward a few spaces in this roll and move board game). The railroads have been replaced by iconic props like Marty's skateboard, Biff's car, the Time Train and Griff's Pit Bull Hoverboard. If you land on the "Support the Clock Tower Fund" space you have t pay $100 to the bank. Interesting that the "Go To Jail" space isn't rethemed as Back to the Future Part II's USA Today newspaper could have been used instead of the iconic Monopoly image.
Here is the official description:
